The David Roy Williams Entertainment Group was established by Shock Records founder, David Reginald Williams.
The group is comprised of Entertainment enterprises including Concert Promotions, Music labels, Merchandise management, Professional Services, Music publishing and Artist services.

David Roy Williams Entertainment provides hands on and personable service for both International and Australian touring artists throughout Australia and New Zealand. We present concerts by a wide variety of artists encompassing a myriad of genres from around the globe.
Our merchandise company, Vicious Threads, provides a total solution for touring artists, Australian artists, special interest entertainment as well as non-entertainment organisations. Incorporating design, manufacture, stock management, budgets, credit card facilities, and sales staff, Vicious Threads is geared towards producing quality goods whilst maximizing return on investment for clients.
DRWE provides a number of additional services to entertainment industry professionals including entertainment investment, music supervision, logistics, sales, marketing, and entertainment visa applications.
With a long history of success at all levels of the entertainment industry, DRWE provides services to artists and performers in the quest to reach and interact with the Australian and New Zealand public.
DRWE is represented by a number of music labels, producing digital masters, CDs and vinyl records.

Breakaway – Australian home to They Might Be Giants (including Australian only retrospective 50,000,000 They Might Be Giants Songs Can’t Be Wrong) and Cody Chesnutt, the label will be announcing new singings in the near future.
Public Opinion Music – Releases include Australian only releases by Yngwie Malmsteen & King Crimson offshoot The Crimson ProjeKCt.

David Roy Williams began his career in the Australian music industry behind the record store counter in 1980. He subsequently worked for a number of import and export music distributors including a period with Richard Branson’s Virgin Music Group in the UK.
David launched Shock Records in 1988, and the business quickly became Australia’s largest independent recorded music company. The business expanded to incorporate DVD at the turn of the millennium, and eventually included Export, music publishing and clothing divisions. David exited the business at the end of 2011.
David launched concert promotion company Tombowler in 2012, expanding the business and launching further divisions, eventually morphing the businesses into the better brand recognized umbrella of David Roy Williams Group.
David has served on the ARIA Board, as Chairman for the ARIA Awards and as Chairman of the independent recording association, AIR.
Kirstie started her entertainment career making things happen on the rigorous Australian festival circuit. Prior to joining the DRWE team Kirstie developed experience in client communication, artist management and event management.
Expounding upon her experience in sales and design Kirstie is now at the helm of thriving merch business Vicious Threads.
As well as being a music fan, Kirstie applies her professionalism to delivering outstanding results for clients every time.
